The travel agent doing the Random Walk arrangements emailed me this morning with details about what he needs from the participants before we leave. I can't believe I'm really doing this. Just need to figure out how to get the required amount into my checking account by the specified date so I can pay for my travel and accomodations. I think I have everything else. Sounds like it's going to be a blast.

I was sort of worried at first because I thought I might need a visa and didn't think I'd have much time to do all the paperwork, visit the consulate, etc... but it turns out they'll almost certainly grant me a visitor visa upon arrival, so it's all cool.

Now excuse me while I pack up the last of my stuff for the road trip to Chicago.
